Randy Liljenberg retired from CDOT in the summer of 2014 with over 25 year’s experience in the DBE and ESB programs. During his career, Randy was responsible for making eligibility determinations on applications for DBE and ESB certification, setting contract DBE goals, conducting Good Faith Effort reviews, and served as a technical resource to Connect2DOT on the DBE and ESB programs. He is an expert in DBE and ESB eligibility requirements and application processes, the relationships between the DBE and ESB programs with others (MBE, WBE, SBE, 8(a)), and in DBE program compliance.

Since retiring, Randy provides clients with a full range of certification application services including review of applications, identification of problem areas, application preparation, management of existing certifications, post-certification responsibilities, understanding the relationships between certifications, and business formation.

Randy is a veteran, having served six years in the US Navy. He earned a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is an avid cyclist, aspiring photographer, and volunteer at the Longmont Humane Society.
